Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR)

Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) is an electrodiagnostic test that provides information about the status of the neural pathways.  This test is typically utilized with individuals who are difficult to test by conventional methods, babies, or those with signs or symptoms of a nervous system disorder or disease.
During an ABR, electrodes are placed on the head and brain wave activity in response to sound is recorded.
