Dana LaSpisa

Patient Care Coordinator - Lake Success

I graduated from St. John’s University with a BS in Finance. My previous background was in retail finance for 33 years, first in Financial Planning and then predominantly in Capital Planning. I worked for Foot Locker 28 of the 33 years and Bloomingdales the first five out of college. Although I loved the math portion of my job, my favorite part was leading my team to strategize and collaborate on projects. The team work portion is where I felt like we made a difference for the customer’s experience. This is one of the reasons I felt going into patient care would be a rewarding experience where I could continue to make a difference. I was my mom’s care taker for many years and it warms my heart when I see patients come in with family members. I enjoy conversing with them and knowing that we’re making a big difference in the quality of their lives.

I love long walks, reading and traveling to spend time with my family in Europe. I’m always looking to spend time with my grandson.  Arts and crafts is a hobby I love to do when I have time and event planning.
